DA and DR are different metrics from Ahrefs and Moz. So the score will varies.

Hey Moz Community, We've noticed that there are questions about Domain Authority, what it is, and how to positively impact it. We're here to answer your questions! For a full overview, please see our help hub article here: https://moz.com/learn/seo/domain-authority First, it's important to keep in mind that Domain Authority (DA) is a search engine ranking score developed by Moz that predicts how likely a website is to rank in search engine result pages (SERPs). It is not a Google ranking factor. Domain Authority scores range from one to 100, with higher scores corresponding to a greater likelihood of ranking. Since DA is based on machine learning calculations, your site's score will often fluctuate as more, fewer, or different data points become available and are incorporated into those calculations. For instance, if facebook.com were to acquire a billion new links, every other site’s DA would drop relative to Facebook’s. Because more established and authoritative domains like Facebook will have increasingly larger link profiles, they take up more of the high-DA slots, leaving less room at the higher end of the scale for other domains with less robust link profiles. Therefore, it's significantly easier to grow your score from 20 to 30 than it is to grow it from 70 to 80. For this reason, it’s important to use Domain Authority as a comparative metric rather than an absolute one. The best way to influence your DA is to improve your overall site health with a focus on the quality and quantity of external links pointing to your site. Hi. I'm trying to figure out how to easily see, for a given keyword, the ranking domains, their domain authority, and their traffic. Is it possible to get this all on one screen?

Website not ranking to its potential!
Our current website was launched end of 2014. Since then we have been very ethical with our content marketing & link building approach. The website content is very original including all categories and product pages. Sine the launch we have added quite a lot of useful content to the website in terms of buying guides and knowledge centre. The website has acquired links from very ethical bloggers sharing our content and linking back to our content pages(knowledge centre) instead of the category or product pages. We're currently working with quality content writers/bloggers to produce inspirational and useful content targeted to our audience. The website is still not ranking to its potential as compared to some of its competitors who are not doing anything at all. I'm struggling to see if there is an issue with my strategy and whether the approach needs changing. Also, opensiteexplorer is not showing the correct data for backlinks since its launch. There are however much more links acquired than shown by moz. To be accurate moz is only showing 10% of the links we have acquired till now. The links are from highly reputed bloggers, magazines and industry portals. Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

Not existing domains linking to my website (spam)
Hello, When i run my platform www.taobao.nl through https://moz.com/researchtools/ose/ i see a lot of nasty adult domains that link to my platform. These give a very negative (spam)score to my platform. I already disavowed quite a few via Webmastertools, but they keep coming. When i check the names in the Whois, they don't even seem to exist! (anymore) What could cause this and how can i end it?? Thanks for your help! Sander

Spam score question on shortened URLs
Hello, Our agency owns a URL, thejoint.co, specifically for url shortening. There is no content on this url. When we post client's content to social media channels, we use the shortener which 301s to the normal URL. Now, when I use Moz Open Site Explorer to view a client's webpage (http://chiropractorphoenix-thejoint.com/scottsdale/shea/ or chiropractorglendaleca-thejoint.com), I see thejoint.co with a spam score of 9. I'm looking for clarification if this is a real problem in regards to my clients website health? If so, is there any way to keep the shortner without the negative effects? Thank you, P.S. Does this mean Moz's Spam tool also recognizes Bit.ly and other similar services as spam?

Can I increase my DA with backlinks pointing to the www version ?
Hello Guys, I hope I am posting this in the right section... I was wondering something... I use the www version for my website, So I set the cannonicalisation and the 301 Redirect of non-www to www version. But I checked my website on MOZ (Open Site Explorer) and when I type in mywebsite.com I get 19 DA and 1 PA. When I typed in www,mywebsite.com I get 19 DA and 32 PA. So i would like to have some clarifications about how their domain authority and page authority system work. My PA of the www version is higher than my DA because almost all my link point to the www version and I do the 301 redirect. ? But how can I increase my DA if I focus on building backlink to the www version of my website ? Should I build link to the non-www version of my website to increase my DA even if I use the www version for my website ? If I build backlink to the non-www version, will it increase the PA of the www version since it's has a 301 redirect ? If I build backlink to the www version of my website will it increase the DA of my website ? Im really confused here so any help and clarification from you guys will be really appreciated. Thank You.
