In August of 2008—after ten years of professional experience in print, web, interactive, and identity design—Chris enrolled at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary to receive his Master of Divinity degree. Yet that odd career move may be the best way to understand who Chris is and what he contributes to Alliant Studios as a designer, developer, and art director.
Chris is an irrepressible storyteller. “Anything worth saying is worth saying in story.” In fact, everything we do or say or write has a story lurking somewhere behind it. We cannot escape telling stories; we can only escape telling them well. Graphic design, of course, is the art of visual storytelling. Chris went to seminary in order to understand the really big stories—the ones that shape and give meaning to life. After earning his degree degree in 2012, Chris joined the Alliant team and now oversees all their efforts to spin straw into gold.
Chris married Jen (Hill) Anderson in 2005, and they are raising two young dictators—Jack and William.
