I use digital marketing, social media, media relations, public relations, SEO and SEM to build my employer's visibility across the Web. I currently serve Kalamazoo College as its director of media relations and online content. In this role, I interface with other business and academic units across campus to collaborate, establish benchmarks and develop communication strategies.
In my last two positions, I have worked at two very different institutions of higher education, where I have developed an understanding of the communication challenges facing colleges and universities as I have worked to improve engagement with multiple stakeholder groups. My responsibilities have ranged from central roles defining overarching communication strategy to overseeing the development and implementation of communication campaigns through assessment and evaluation.
I have prior experience with B2C, B2B, higher ed, nonprofit and media organizations. I have a master's degree in communication from Purdue University.
