Hootsuite is fabulous for doing just that. I've been using it for more than a year. There's a paid version and a free version. If you're the only one working on it, you have fewer than 5 social networks, and you don't care to see link reports the free version is fine. the paid version is $5 per month.

My opinion....
Linked In if you need to make contacts/relationships with other vendors. It's the most professional way of doing this. But I don't use linked in so I can't say much.
Facebook is a must IMO
Twitter if you want to make contacts and relationships with other vendors. I've made some good relationships here... it's easy and candid.
Re Google +1. I think you might have a google +1 account automatically if you have a google account. I'm not sure if you're +1's are automatically related to that account though? I haven't been paying much attention to google +1 stuff

Hootsuite is a web-based application. Tweekdeck is something you have to download to your computer.
There are a few others but I can't remember what they are right now.
