I’m Anthony Winyard, wedding host, DJ and Master of Ceremonies and was honoured to receive the title of "Wedding DJ of the Year" in the 2016 Wedding Industry Awards.
I’ve performed at over 2,000 weddings, all filled with love, energy and laughter – and every one different.
For the previous 15 years, I was a full-time DJ, working to huge crowds in top clubs around the world.
That’s thousands of events, and millions of people I’ve entertained – but I love the intimacy of weddings and the impact I can have by injecting an element of fun and surprise to break the ice between family and friends, even before the reception.
I constantly improve my skills and knowledge, taking courses in MCing, stand-up comedy, improvisation, mixing, microphone techniques, and public speaking. I also network regularly with the top DJs and wedding professionals in the UK to share ideas and get new perspectives.
My objective is to ensure the couples who book me are told by their guests they have never attended such a fantastic wedding – even months or years later.
