That's good to know but did it affect sales? It seems that less people are likely to call than are to just go ahead and check out.

RE: The Effects of "Call for Pricing" Pricing Structures
Yes, but in our industry we have a set MAP Pricing policy with all other product suppliers which sets a legal limit on online pricing, normally about 20% below MSRP.
I personally will not call for pricing on most products. I assume it means that the price is too high. I can't imagine how many other people feel the same way and how many customers they're/we're losing from it.

The Effects of "Call for Pricing" Pricing Structures
I have a wholesaler who sells great products but they have an internet pricing policy that states we cannot show prices online and that we must have a "call for pricing" or "request a quote/price" button instead because retailers are losing sales due to lower prices online from other retailers.
I know, I know.. They are out of their mind. I have already told them that they should have online MAP pricing requirements to protect their retailers but they refuse to even set an MSRP! I've been looking for some articles to show the statistics of customers lost from not having a price on your site.
Does anyone have any information or suggested links on this topic? and the final question is if I was to remove the prices from my website, would that in turn affect my rankings?

RE: Link Juice Passing Through Headers
Thats my problem. I'm trying to reduce on page links if anything. It just seems that the link structure of the site would be harmed by this.
Here's my exact problem:
website: www.coolpooltables.com
Im trying to get this link juice flow:
3rd layer pages > Pool Table Services (In Navigation Menu) > Home (In Navigation Menu)
but since the Pool Table Services page is linked in the navigation menu aren't the in-page links pointless since the home page has a link to the services page through the navigation menu as well?
Should I remove the services page from the navigation menu or I am just looking at this the wrong way?

Link Juice Passing Through Headers
I understand the concept of linking your pages internally to help pass juice to one another but it seems to me that the navigation bar with links to your main pages that appear on every page kind of eliminate the linking strategy.
For Example:
At the top of every page is a Home, About, Services, Contact, etc. Do the bots count these as links from each page?
There must be something I'm missing here! Help me out guys!

My website is saying I have duplicate page content and page title. How do I fix it?
Hi,
I created a website on webstarts.com. After I launched it then ran a scan through SEO it says I have duplicate page content and page title. The 2 pages it is reading are technically the same page. www.mobilemowermedicsinc.com and www.mobilemowermedicsinc.com/index . I am unsure how to get rid of on of these as it keeps saying this is an error in the SEO scan. Could someone please advise me of what to do from here.
Thanks!

RE: Keyword selection and search counts
Thanks for the input Oracle. I used these piano terms as examples but I am still in a small local niche market. We provide pool table services to the Atlanta and Metro-Atlanta areas such as pool table moving, recovering, etc.
We've got some really good organic ranking and good bit of authority but it has been difficult to gauge which terms to use (i.e. pool table recovering vs. pool table refelting).

RE: Keyword selection and search counts
I've tried this a few times but I often get a "not enough data" response under the search volume headings.

Keyword selection and search counts
I am a new pro member and have noticed that a lot of my keywords are very similar.
i.e. "piano movers Atlanta" vs. "Atlanta piano movers" vs. "piano movers in Atlanta"
Is there an accurate way to see search counts for each of these terms do determine which one I should target? Does anyone have any recommended tools or strategies?

RE: Dramatic Rankings Drop
Yes. On this most recent update. I've noticed slight drops before due to google updates but nothing like this.
Looks like your connection to Moz was lost, please wait while we try to reconnect.
