Our website is in a directory format: http://www.website.com/website.asp Our homepage display URL is http://www.website.com which currently matches our to eliminate the possibility of duplicate content. However, I noticed that in the SERPs, google displays the homepage with a trailing slash http://www.website.com/ My question: should I change the rel="canonical" to have a trailing slash?  I noticed one of our competitors uses the trailing slash in their rel="canonical" Do potential benefits outweigh the risks? From July 30th to the 31st many of my keyword rankings in Google plumited 30 spots or more.  Has anyone else notice this on their site?  Does anyone have any idea for the presumed penalty? I can PM my site information if needed for further assistance.  As always thank you for the assistance, and any help in this matter is greatly appreciated!

Has anyone had any experience with the DoFollow social bookmarking tool "Mister Wong".  Is it worth the fee for DoFollow links?  Is this site subject to Google Panda penalties or others for essentially selling dofollow links? Is social bookmarking as a whole worth the time and effort? Does anyone have any alternative sites or strategies for acquiring a high volume of dofollow backlinks?

I have a Wordpress blog on our subdomain and we use relative paths on our domain.  It appears as though Google bot is crawling from the subdomain categories back to the domain relative paths.  This of course results in hundreds of 404 pages. Any suggestions as to how to resolve this issue without changing the relative path structure of our domain?  I can provide more information if need be.  While I realize these issues are not that pressing, I'd obviously like to remove as many errors as possible.  If anyone has encountered this problem, especially in Wordpress I'd really like to hear your solution or lack there of.  Thank you in advance.

We have recently moved our company's blog to Wordpress on a subdomain (we utilize the Yoast SEO plugin).  We are now experiencing an ever-growing volume of crawl errors (nearly 300 4xx now) for pages that do not exist to begin with.  I believe it may have something to do with having the blog on a subdomain and/or our yoast seo plugin's indexation archives (author, category, etc) --- we currently have Subpages of archives and taxonomies, and category archives in use. I'm not as familiar with Wordpress and the Yoast SEO plugin as I am with other CMS' so any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.  I can PM further info if necessary.  Thank you for the help in advance.

I have a multitude of "schedule a demo" pages/forms on my site that are all identical, so I have on all of them.  My question is, should I also place on the link to the "schedule a demo" pages? I know the generic rule is to never nofollow any internal links (per Matt Cutts http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bVOOB_Q0MZY), but should that still apply if the link directs to a page that is noindex, nofollow? Thanks for your input in advance; don't want to run into, as Matt Cutts puts it, "a mini kerfuffle!"
