RE: Does anyone have an idea of the benefits of Google Analytics Premium?
Hi Anthony,
A full discussion of the pro's and con's of Google Analytics Premium requires more depth than I can share in this response, but I'm happy to answer your questions and answer additional questions or talk offline. Our company is a Google Analytics Premium Authorized Reseller and we have many clients using the platform. I answer your questions from that perspective.
"all it seems you gain access to is more support from google" - There are many more benefits to GA Premium than just the additional support, but you also shouldn't discount the additional support. It's quite extensive. You're basically getting access to a world class analytics team along with your product purchase. No other product I know of includes that level of support. This support is provided by the reseller if purchased through a reseller.
"I'm talking about the (Not Set) data" - I assume you're talking about (not provided). If you're seeing an increase in (not set) data that is quite fixable. However, Premium customers are treated no differently when it comes to (not provided). You'll see the same data no matter what tool you use. Just be thankful you're (not provided) data is growing. That's a good thing.
"Any thought opinions or even more questions" - That's too open ended for this response, but I'm happy to answer questions in detail offline or additional general questions in this thread. As far as the value of Premium, one question you could ask yourself is "How much more value could we generate if we had accurate data, access to all of our data, additional features to analyze that data, and resources to help us make sense of the data?" If the answer is a large enough value then you should seriously consider Premium.
Hopefully that helps and I'm happy to continue the discussion.
