One thing you didn't cover that I'm curious about is: Would it be better to serve a separate mobile page or to make the entire website responsive?

Campaign link not working?
I imagine most of the initial problems with the domain migration to moz.com will be cleaned up rather quickly.
I did however notice right away my links to my campaigns from the dashboard were not working. I then click the campaigns tab up top and my campaign links worked from there.
Just thought I'd share real quick incase anyone else is having the same issue.

Change Crawl and rank report day?
Does anyone know if there is a way to get all of my account's campaign's to get crawled and rank reports on the same day?

RE: Why my rankings slipped down a bit after January 20 ?
Just real quick...
You have a few validation errors: html css
You could use placing your keywords onsite as anchor text, and in image alt text.
Also you should style your text BOLD and Italic with html tags: and , instead of with css how you currently have it:
You could use a keyword rich
tag.
Also the site ranking #1 has about 70,000 more followed links to their site than you do yours.
Check out this post on a clever way to insert more onsite text when hovered over images.
Hope that Helps!

RE: Good idea to use hidden text for SEO purposes due to picky clients not allowing additional content?
I guess it's a matter of intent and use. I personally don't believe that just because people use this as a spam technique it should not be used in a legitimate scenario as the one described above. If each product has an info div describing the product which can be hovered over to show the text than the end result is better UX. In my opinion better UX converts better.I think as long as It is used properly and for the right reasons it's not spam.
As far as being SPAM in Google's algorithm, I don't know!
Google has top-secret algorithms designed to detect when text is hidden/positioned off screen. If this type of hidden text is detected, our important red phone rings, and this becomes one of the signals that may cause us to believe your site is deceptive.
The KEYWORD here is MAY.
May cause us to believe your site is deceptive - leads me to believe it is analyzed on a case to case basis. Which if your not spamming like hiding hidden links or 1000 words of text you'd probably be fine.
However this leads to a greater question. Should spammers hijacking legit design techniques ruin them for everyone and keep legitimate needed sites from using them due to fear of being de-indexed?

Using css create a div positioned left:-9999;
Create an info button or link that with
a.hover divName { left: 300 - or whatever !
Should work and not be spam just cool css at work !

What's the Best Method of Content Distribution
This question is both specific and open ended.
I have a new web project I've been working on content for. I paid to have a really sweet research article written and I am in the process of turning it into an info-graphic as well. Being that the the website is so new it doesn't have many customers and few to no blog readership.
Now that I will soon have great content for the site should I :
A. Post on the Blog ? ( Its a Blogger on a blog. domain.com )
B. Post as a static page on the website ? (domain.com/content)
C. Something Else ?
Whats the easiest to promote and push traffic to?
Which will rank best?
Which will rank longer?
Which will rank faster?Any other suggestions to get the content in front of the niche market?

RE: Brand New Site Penalized?
I originally thought this myself. The problem I have with that is that it occurred on only one of the websites. If the issue was content duplication wouldn't both sites have the issue?

Brand New Site Penalized?
I recently launched 2 completely separate and unrelated websites at the same time. Both are new domains and hosting accounts. neither have any links. One is ranking for a branded search and the other is not. The interesting thing is that I tested both sites on the back end of my server before launch. The site that is not ranking for branded search IS ranking still on the back end of my site for the branded search. I have removed all content and 301 redirected the testing urls back to my portfolio page.
Could this be do to Google indexing one but not the other. Does it have anything to do with testing on my server first and my DA being higher than current new sites? Or is it something completely different I'm missing completely. Is this a Penalty?
