RE: Is it Wortwhile to have a HTML site map for a Large Site
Thanks Keri,
On our enterprise site we have some really good pages that are unfortunately not connected to the rest of the site. I was thinking of the HTML site map as a way to get some connection to those pages. would this be a viable tactic?

RE: Local Search Question re Bulk Upload Feed
Thanks for your response Christy.
The objective for the upload is two fold:
1. To get visibility and traffic from the local listings
2. To be able to use local extensions in PPC

Local Search Question re Bulk Upload Feed
What option is best for a Bulk Upload Feed?
A. Should this be done in the same Google account where we run our Adwords campaign or
B. Should we use our Google account that has the Google Webmaster access?
Thank you

Is it Wortwhile to have a HTML site map for a Large Site
We are a large, enterprise site with many pages (some on our CMS and some old pages that exist outside our CMS). Every month we submit various an XML site map.
Some pages on our site can no longer be found via following links from one page to another (orphan pages). Some of those pages are important and some not.
Is it worth our while to create a HTML site map? Does any one have any recent stats or blog posts to share, showing how a HTML site map may have benefited a large site.
Many thanks

Blocking Test Pages Enmasse on Sub-domain
Hello,
We have thousands of test pages on a sub-domain of our site. Unfortunately at some point, these pages were visible to search engines and got indexed. Subsequently, we made a change to the robots.txt file for the test sub-domain. Gradually, over a period of a few weeks, the impressions and clicks as reported by Google Webmaster Tools fell off for the test. sub-domain.
We are not able to implement the no index tag in the head section of the pages given the limitations of our CMS.
Would blocking off Google bot via the firewall enmasse for all the test pages have any negative consequences for the main domain that houses the real live content for our sites (which we would like to of course remain in the Google index).
Many thanks

Schema.org for Organization Logos
Hi,
We have 4 different sites on four different domains. each domain serves a different market and sells different products. However, all 4 sites have the same logo.
we are thinking of implementing the logo schema.org for our logo - http://googlewebmastercentral.blogspot.ca/2013/05/using-schemaorg-markup-for-organization.html
Does any one know if Google might see the identical logos (even if Google cant actually see an Image like a human) for different domains as something spammy?
Many thanks

301 vs 302 & Link Juice
Has any one come across any recent cases of a 302 link passing more link juice than before?

Robots.txt & Mobile Site
Background - Our mobile site is on the same domain as our main site. We use a folder approach for our mobile site abc.com/m/home.html We are re-directing traffic to our mobile site vie device detection and re-direction exists for a handful of pages of our site ie most of our pages do not redirect the user to a mobile equivalent page.
Issue – Our mobile pages are being indexed in desktop Google searches
Input Required – How should we modify our robots.txt so that the desktop google index does not index our mobile pages/urls
User-agent:
Googlebot-Mobile
Disallow: /m
User-agent: `YahooSeeker/M1A1-R2D2`
Disallow: /m
User-agent: `MSNBOT_Mobile`
Disallow: /m
Many thanks

RE: Multi-lingual Site (Tags & XML SiteMap Question)
Hi Mememax,
Many thanks for the response.
Just so that I am super clear, which site map producing software would you recommend where I could specify such a command to be added for a site map for a specific directory or sub-domain.
To me, the Google article seems to be suggesting that the hreflang commend needs to be added to each url in the site-map, and we have hundreds if not thousands.
Best
