Thanks Matt. It's a great article, but I don't see any step by step instructions on how to apply schema.org rich text snippets into that product template file?

I really can't sing Wordpress praises highly enough. By far it has given me and my clients the best results from an SEO perspective, as well as allowing even the most basic of users to add and update content. In terms of security, I recommend Sucuri.net which will monitor and fix any hack/virus/malware etc and they provide great advice and support to keep your WP install secure.

Hi all, I'm trying to get all the microformats done for reviews on a few sites, and would like clarification for aggregate reviews. Specifically, if I create an aggregate reviews page and put that a product or company has a 9 out of 10 rating, with 15 reviews (counts) am i correct in thinking that I then need to make sure that there are indeed 15 individual reviews on the same page, each listing their own score (votes) to ensure that the figures for the average come out right?

Matthew, I would be very interested in your recommendation for a solution for Joomla. Just tackling 3 sites on Joomla/Virtuemart after years with Wordpress and OSCommerce. Thanks!

Looks like the above code might be a bit wrong/ out of date. Current format should be:PUT YOUR PRODUCT, BUSINESS OR SERVICE HERE REVIEW SUMMARY HERE. I.E. WHAT YOUR CUSTOMER IS SAYING IN THE REVIEW 4.5 out of 5 based on 17 reviewsI've also replace the H3 tag with standard span tag, as each person might want the info formatted slightly differently. You can, of course, easily change the numerical ratings of the system. E.g. if your average rating is 7 out of 10, then 7 is the average and 10 is the best.
