You are correct. But, my question is. Am I okay with moving the blog and all it's content over to sitea/blog?
I don't want to get penalized by Google.

Site A is my primary site. I created a blog on site B and wrote good content and gave links back to site A. I think this is causing a penalty to occur. I no longer want to update site B and want to move the entire blog and it's content to sitea.com/blog.
Is this a good idea or should I just start a fresh/new sitea/blog and just remove the links from site B to site A?
Under Manual Actions "No manual webspam actions found."
So what do I do next?
All of my websites do link to each other.
They are on the same IP address. (I told webhost to spread across 5 IP's and they didn't)
Each website is templated based.

Keri, now I have a lot of reading to do. I will read this and get back to you. May take a day or two!
Takeshi, thank you for your reply. I tried to respond earlier, but MOZ was logging me out when I tried to respond.
That's a very good question. I started losing rank during penguin 1 and penguin 2. I use 3 different keywords for each website moving it up. 60/20/20 with 60 % being the main keyword using the same anchor text. Any other suggestions you can give would be fantastic.
I own over 40 real estate websites that linked to each other for certain keywords. This worked for a long time and now has not. All had unique content, but pretty much used the same template for design. I do have some very good content on each website.
How should I go about getting un penalized? Will killing all the text links to all the sites help? Looking for solid advice here and thank you for your time.
My plan is to move the blogs and automated content to site A. I will be changing the design of site B. Hopefully google will reward me moving forward.
I have always done the site B method and it really has worked well till recently. Now I'm thinking of being more broad with site B keywords and go with the plan A route. The problem is getting good quality back links
So what should I do now for damage control? Leave site B up and go after more general terms and only link back once per article??
I really am looking for solid advice!
Site A is my Main Site.
Site B is my Blog.
Is using site B to link back to site A a good idea or should site A have it's own blog going after keywords?

Looks like your connection to Moz was lost, please wait while we try to reconnect.
