What you're referring to are called sitelinks. Google adds them automatically when they think they will be of benefit to the searcher. There's a pretty comprehensive article on sitelinks at Google's Webmaster Tools. http://www.google.com/support/webmasters/bin/answer.py?answer=47334

RE: Multiple users & logins for one Pro account?
Hi Joe,
You're probably better off directing this to the SEOmoz help team. Fire them an email at help@seomoz.org. As they don't read each Q&A thread, you'll probably get a faster response this way.
Thanks,
Brendan.

RE: Website isn't Ranking for Any Keyword
Hi,
As the others have said, your backlink profile looks pretty nasty. Another thing to remember is your anchor text. A brief look through OSE shows you have 100% keyword rich anchor text. Natural links often use the domain as anchor text so try to get some good quality, relevant links using www.playhouses.co.uk or http://www.playhouses.co.uk.

RE: Follow or no follow?
Pages such as the about us page can have real value to your readers so definitely leave these as followed links. Likewise, if your contact page has important information such as telephone numbers or physical address, you want these pages indexed.
Rand wrote a post on NoFollow sculpting which dates back to 2008 but is still pretty relevant.

RE: Juicy Link Finder..
Hi Simon,
If you're looking for really good link building opportunities (obviously you should be) I wouldn't look any further than the Link Moses service offered by Eric Ward. It's a paid service but for $8/month it's ridiculous value. Joost de Valk wrote a great review/recommendation of his services.
I think it's fair to say that Eric's site looks pretty awful but his link building experience is second to none. I signed up just over a week ago and already have some great tips.
Hope that helps,
Brendan.

RE: Rankings not surfacing all my keywords
Hi Mike,
I had a similar issue this week. I emailed help@seomoz.org explaining the problem and they got the problem sorted pretty quickly.
Hope that helps,
Brendan.

RE: New sitelinks - can we control the number?
Thanks guys,
I guess it's a case of keyword relevancy so I'll have to be happy with just the 8!
Cheers,

New sitelinks - can we control the number?
A quick question on Google's new sitelink format. When searching for our brand name (Confetti) Google returns 8 sitelinks for our site. When searching for our domain (confetti.co.uk) Google returns the maximum number of 12 sitelinks.
Is there a quick way (Webmaster Tools for example) to increase the number of sitelinks for our brand name to 12?
Thanks,

RE: ECommerce products duplicate content issues - is rel="canonical" the answer?
Thanks for that Yumi. Although some product pages are slightly different, I still think they're too similar to be called 'unique'.

ECommerce products duplicate content issues - is rel="canonical" the answer?
Howdy,
I work on a fairly large eCommerce site, shop.confetti.co.uk. Our CMS doesn't allow us to have 1 product with multiple colour and size options so we created individual product pages for each product variation. This of course means that we have duplicate content issues.
The layout of the shop works like this; there is a product group page (here is our disposable camera group) and individual product pages are below.
We also use a Google shopping feed.
I'm sure we're being penalised as so many of the products on our site are duplicated so, my question is this - is rel="canonical" the best way to stop being penalised and how can I implement it? If not, are there any better suggestions? Also, we have targeted some long-tail keywords in some of the product descriptions so will using rel-canonical effect this or the Google shopping feed?
I'd love to hear experiences from people who have been through similar things and what the outcome was in terms of ranking/ROI.
Thanks in advance.

RE: Recommendation to fix Google backlink anchor text over optimisation filter penalty (auto)
Hey Hash,
I'd start work on building non-keyword links from good authority sites. You need control over the anchor text so start in the usual places (directories) etc. Rand wrote a good Q&A answer on anchor text variations which is worth reading.
Remeber to build links not only to the homepage but to other pages throughout the site.
Personally, I wouldn't bother with another reconsideration request to Google as the number of link you'll need to build is relatively small.

RE: How do I distribute blog content?
Thanks a lot guys. Plenty of advice there for me to be looking at and cracking on with.

How do I distribute blog content?
Morning Mozzers!
I work for an online wedding retailer and we add new, unique, high quality content to our blogs on a daily basis. After adding the new content we Tweet it and mention it on our Facebbok page. My question is this: how can I distribute the content to generate back links? Any example sites or case studies of things you guys have done in the past would be great!
Thanks in advance.
