Hey its question time for me today.....lol, I an using the SEOmoz On Page Optimization Tool and so far I have optimized my home page for one term"web design edinburgh" started at an F now its an A (Good Boy!) So I wasn wondering what poeples views were on the best way to do this? What I was thinking about doing was optimizing my site for 1 main Keyword/ Phrase per page. For instance Home Page - Keyphrase - "web design edinburgh" Web Design Page - "Web Development" not sure to make it" web development" or "web development edinburgh" SEO page - "Search Engine Optimisation" and so on........ So I would end up with a potential of say 6 landing pages each optimised for a certain keyword/phrase! Is this a good idea, or is there a better method I could employ? Thanks for sharing again. Hello, here we go again, If I write an article somewhere, lets say Squidoo for instance, then post it to my blog on my website will google see this as duplicate content and  probably credit Squidoo for it or is there soemthing I can do to prevent this, maybe a linkk back to Squidoo from my website or a dontfollow on my website? Im not sure so any help here would be great, Also If I use other peoples material in my blog and link back to them, obviously I dont want the credit for the original material I am simply collating some of this on my blog for others to have a specific library if you like. Hi Guys, This might be more of a joomla thiing than a SEO thing but it is correlated as I need to seo this pgage and i cant find it. Please help if you can, while my developer is on hols, this is driving me nuts!! I can find the article sections in Joomla 2.5 to edit all the text in my other pages but for some reason cannot find the text for the home page!!??? any ideas? Please...?? He set a lot of it up using CSS and Jquery / php etc....so im a little confused as to why I can find the html to edit.......aaahhhhhhhh Thanks guys, Im sure its quite easy!! Thanks in advance. Craig

I am a little confused! I use vidahost  whom I have to say I find very helpful. I currently have the domains www.fentonit.co.uk and www.fentonit.com, now the websites was set up using the www.fentonit.com and I have www.fentonit.co.uk as a parked domain pointed to the www.fentonit.com. Confused yet? Now because I wanted the website to show www.fentonit.co.uk I added some code I was given by the guys to the .hta access file and viola up it comes as the .co.uk which is what I wanted. So if your still here and havent A: Killed yourself yet or B: Went to the Pub Then my questions are: 1. Is there going to be an issue from an SEO point of view having my site set up this way and if so how do I resolve it? 2. Would I be better using the root domain fentonit.co.uk (I think this is the root domain, although it iscurrently parked and pointed) as opposed to the sub www domain?.......and finally.......? 3. If it is set up as I stated what exactly would be my root domain, would it be the .co.uk or the .com?
