The name DENSLEONIS came to us when we were starting the business. With Thousands of agencies out there we had to take a step back and take a new look at things. Throwing ideas out there that are acronyms of the partners names, or tech savvy names, weren't going to cut it. We wanted to stand for something more than that.

Going back to the basics of things what really is advertising? Advertising is the ability to spread the word about a particular thing. Digging deeper on that fundamental of spreading, we had our heading. What spreads? How do things spread?

It hit me, spread like a weed! So we had our name, Weed Advertising. No no, thats not it. Thinking about it, whats another type of weed. Well, a dandelion is a weed, I like the idea, but that doesn't have a nice ring to it either. We want to be the foundation, the very beginning. Thinking on that, beginning, every word came from something. In Latin, dandelion is densleonis. Densleonis Advertising, we liked the sound of that. The action of advertising is spreading. Our name stands for spreading. We are the action of advertising. We are Densleonis.
