None of my campaigns with moz appear to be showing any data for a few weeks now. Any ideas?

Opensiteexplorer missing links
Hi There
I was just checking www.cellartours.com on opensiteexplorer and I noticed that it was missing a link from yahoo directory http://dir.yahoo.com/business_and_economy/shopping_and_services/travel_and_transportation/tour_operators/culinary/ sixth from the top. That's kinda big one to be missing, no?

How to handle rel canonical on secondary TLD's - multi regional sites.
I currently have a .com domain which I am think of duplicating the content on to another tld, CO.UK (and regionalize some aspects like contact numbers etc). From my research, it seems that in gwt you must then indicate which country you wish to target, in the co.uk case the UK. My question is how should I handle rel canonical in the duplicated site. should it rel canonical back to the .com or the co.uk? Any other pointers would also be appreciated.
Thx

RE: Can anyone explain these crazy SERPS?
he is cloaking - with 307 redirect for normal web browsing and displaying optimized content for search engine bots. seems totally setup for post xmas market.

RE: Panda Updates - robots.txt or noindex?
This is a good read. http://www.seomoz.org/blog/duplicate-content-in-a-post-panda-world I think you should be careful with robot.txt because blocking access to the bot will not cause them to remove the content from their index. They will simply include a message saying not quite sure what's on this page.. I would use noindex to clear out the index first before attempting robot.txt exclusion.

RE: Why does google not recognize inbound links from bbb.org?
What's nothing to do with google. It's an open site explorer issue. A simple check of the page source on bbb will determine if google will count it as a link.

RE: IP Indexing of MySQL with 80,000 links , help please
Sounds like a messy one. Looks like your old server was not decommissioned properly. Private message me if ya want me to investigate.

RE: My keyword ranking suddenly went down in google.
There was a Panda Algorithm update at the start of November around the 5th. panda will penalize sites that duplicate content, are of low quality and supply a bad user experience. Load times would be attributed to user experience. I think your website probably ticks a few of these boxes. Your best bet is to research Googe Panda, and see if you can uncheck the boxes.

RE: Are on-page optimization tools becoming outdated?
I am beginning to think that these factors as outline my @Journeyman actualyl can get you some penalty points. And end up reducing your overall ranking.
I think it is as Matt Cutts and Rand have being saying for ages. Write content for people not machines.

RE: If Google doesn’t know we’re hosted in the UK, does that affect our SERPs?
1. Cloud flare is a distributed service with edge servers in many countries around the world. These servers will send your website content from the edge. Users in the uk will most likely be served from a uk server. 2. Google is well clued up on cloud flare and will as you said know that it is dealing with a cdn. Hence in webmaster tools you will not be able to adjust the google crawl rate. 3. In google webmaster tools you can set your desire location, tld that you are targeting. In your case .co.uk. This will tell google I am interested in .co.uk based queries. 4. You should not rule out other possibilities. As sherlock says "when you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth? "

RE: PDF on financial site that duplicates ~50% of site content
You could set the header to noindex rather than rel=canonical

RE: Rank keeps decreasing - Is my site penalized
sounds like you have been penalized by the panda and penguin algo updates. Checkout SEOMOZ White Board Friday videos on the these subjects.

RE: Got a new improved dedicated server but something is not right
something is definitely not right.I think your DNS is not configured correctly, get your admin to check that it is resolving to the correct IP address. This probably changed where you moved to the dedicated server.
-
RE: Not necessary to have keywords in the page? Do you agree?
certainly seems that Google is heading in that direction. How far it has gone is open to debate. Check out last Fridays' Whiteboard on the very subject.
I would still include keywords in title and meta - otherwise your CTR will decrease.

RE: Remove content that is indexed?
In the robots.txt disallow the directory http://www.robotstxt.org/

RE: My ranking dropped 3 pages on 18 november 2012
http://www.armstrongsecurity.co.uk/bodyguard-for-hire-london.html is way to over optimized. for bodyguard services etc... also clean up
tags should only be one per page.

RE: Keywords Ranking Dropped
On the home page, there is multiple use of the
tag, thats a definite no-no..

RE: Any Information on Panda Update #21?
I have I similar issue with a client in the travel industry. They got a panda #21 slap, and I am not sure why. They have quality unique content, good visitor/time on page, no advertising, good load times and sensible use of title and h1 tags.
The interesting thing is that the penalty does not seems to be site wide, their blog on the same domain was not affected, and they are still holding position for main keywords. However for secondary keywords & long tails they are have dropped and in my opinion are being outranked by sites of lesser quality.
I to having been researching possible causes and am at a bit of a loss...
Anybody else have any input?

RE: Internal Linking
Don't use nofollow as long as you are happy that the content to not duplicated else where. On the link anchor, I would try and be as informative as possible, so the visitor has some idea of what they will get when they click.
-
RE: Duplicate content advice
duplicate content is more likely to be affected by Panda updates not penguin updates. Even though you have not experienced any issues todate I would definitely reduce the duplicate content to a min. Otherwise you may be penalized in the next panda update.

Twitter based competition
I have a client who wants to run a twitter based competition.
The idea is as follows.
tweet the url of your favorite product from clients website, with #hashtag .
so potentially there could be 100+ tweets referencing three or four unique urls on the clients website.
What I am interested in is there any SEO benefit to be gained from this.

RE: No_index of parent page
**should do the job, checkout** http://www.robotstxt.org/meta.html if you are unsure

RE: Title Tag - Best Practices
There is <title>which is important both for ranking and is the headline used in the serps and then there is the <meta name="description" title="title that is display below the title in the serps"/> this is not a factor in the ranking algo, but is important as a creative.</p></title>

RE: Google SEO - Where have I disappeared to?
you might want to check your apache config. currently the above link is showing a directory list. I think you are missing index.html
