My name is Edel Byrne and I am the owner and designer at eb graphix. I grew up in Corduff, Co. Monaghan and moved to Donegal 10 years ago. I love everything to do with art, design and technology.
About 12 years ago I got the opportunity to do a work placement in a small print and design company – Farney Print, which is based in Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan and from that first job I knew that design was all I would ever want to do!
I went on to complete an Art & Design course in Monaghan Institute for Further Education and Training and after that, a Multi–Media course in Portadown, Co. Antrim. As part of the multi–media course I got the opportunity to spend 2 months studing in one of Canada's leading media arts schools – The Harris Institute, Toronto. Following this I attended Letterkenny Institute of Technology where I completed a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Graphic Design.
After several years of working for others, I decided to take the plunge and set up my own business offering graphic design and web design services to SME's in Ireland and the UK. I love the personal aspect of being involved with clients and helping them to make the most out of their business through design.
