I HATED writing as a kid, but I always knew I had a knack for it. Well, wouldn't you know, the world needs copywriters and here I am. What I enjoy about copywriting is that it's a critical component to modern day marketing and there's no getting around it.
I'm a listener more than I am a talker which, come to find out, I've learned is a great thing for someone who writes copy for a living. Before you can write, you have to understand your subject on a level that allows you to present information as if you had been studying it all your life.
That's why I enjoy what I do. You have to get yourself up to speed on random topics and as a result you learn a lot about a wide variety of topics.
