John Halfpenny is originally from lower Bucks County, but relocated to Lancaster County for college. John attended Millersville University and Majored in English with a Minor in Journalism. After graduation, John worked at LNP Media Group, formerly known as Lancaster Newspapers, in the advertising department. He worked closely with local Lancaster City businesses to develop and implement multimedia campaigns to grow their businesses and bring customers in the door. He found his way to BrandYourself due to his love for writing and his fascination of branding/marketing.

When John isn’t at BrandYourself, he spends his time doing all things music. He plays bass in a local indie/emo/whateveryouwannacallit band called seasonal, is always looking for new music and inspiration, and spends a lot of time learning about new audio technology. Other than that, John enjoys cooking, the occasional craft beer, and spending time with his friends.
