I started (949) Local after a 25 year career in the personal computer/consumer electronics business where I held senior sales & marketing positions. Constant travel and the ups/downs of the technology biz (and an employer's bankruptcy) persuaded me to hang it up.

Worked for a SEO firm that gives our business a bad name by ripping people off. Used what I had learned to help a friend gain local visibility in search engines and quit the "rip off SEO" guys immediately.
