RE: Jquery for Header
No don't worry, you can have small animations in Jquery. The important thing is that the navigation, the content,... is not into the jquery script.

RE: Differents TLDs and same contents not a problem Matt Cutts says?
I don't want to have thousand of sites with the same content, it's just that in France and Belgium we speak the same language.
I just want to have one site for one country. So, it's maximum 3 of 4 sites with the same content but I don't want that my belgium's appears in SERPs in France. Is there anyway to do this?

Differents TLDs and same contents not a problem Matt Cutts says?
Matt Cutts says on this video that you can have the same content on different TLDs and there is no duplicate content for Google. Have someone try this experience?
For example : same content on "mysite.fr" and "mysite.be".
And for the visitors from Belgium, will they see into the SERPs "mysite.be" and for the visitors from France "mysite.fr"?
Thank you for your answer guys.

A sitemap... What's the purpose?
Hello everybody,
my question is really simple: what's the purpose of a sitemap?
It's to help the robots to crawl your website but if you're website has a good architecture, the robots will be able to crawl your site easily!
Am I wrong?

RE: Switching to another CMS with different permalink structure, how not to lose organic traffic and Google rankings? Urgent Please!
No, if you use 301 redirections, you don't have to correct the old pages.
It's says something like that : "Hey Google, doesn't care anymore about this page, this (the new one) is the page to care about. You can transfert PR,... from the old page to the new one"

For me, you've no choice : you've to use 301 redirection from all your old url's to the new one

Same language many countries
Hello,
I live in Belgium and in this country you've 3 languages : french, dutch and german. I've customers from many countries : France, Nederlands,... and for my website in ".be" (we'll say www.mysite.be for example) I've choosen the french language.
My question is can I've the same content on my site : www.mysite.be and www.mysite.fr without duplicate content or should I forgot using www.mysite.fr to avoid the D.C. problem?
And with my site : www.mysite.be should I've more difficult to rank in France for example?
Thank you for your answer,
Jonathan
