My passions in life run the gamut: data analysis, cognitive neuroscience and psychology, eating, and writing. Not necessarily in that order.
Eating aside, these interests boil down to a love for learning about people; how people respond to online advertising, how they react to new products, and then using that info to impact company growth. I ask "Why?" and "How?", and then "Why?" again because I want to know what affects user behavior, perception, and decision making. Simply put, I'm incessantly curious and want to know why people do what they do.
I'm in business and not research for a reason: I want to see results quickly. I'm drawn to roles where the immediate impact of my actions can be measured - in lead volume, revenue growth, user retention, ROI, or any other calculation. Ongoing testing, data analysis, and creativity are the tools I use to launch and manage successful digital marketing campaigns which, simply put, make me happy.
As for the eating and the writing, those are my off-duty interests. They're just how I channel all of that curiosity and direct it towards something that keeps me sane and happy. And well fed!
