Domain Authority is strictly dependent on the amount of quality backlinks you make. Do keep in mind spam score must be low <30. You can check via Moz Bar. Also, it should be niche relevant. For example , in my case, I have made links for my video-editing micro niche website using niche relevant forums. This is by far the best approach and very easy to do as well..
