Hi, I recently (about 2 months ago) moved a blog from a separate domain name over to my eCommerce site to help with marketing. http://www.moondoggieinc.com/blog. I seem to have gotten it all to work right, but I'm getting tons of 404 errors and they all have " in them for example: http://www.moondoggieinc.com/blog/”http://www.moondoggieinc.com/custom_dog_tanks_and_tees.php” I'm not sure how this happened of how to fix it, but there are about 250 pages like this. I know how to redirect them all with a 301 in htaccess, but Im not sure if that's the appropriate course to fix this or if that's just putting a patch on something that's causing a more major issue. Or do i just need to write 250 301 redirects? Thanks! Kristy O

Up until yesturday I was mainly getting entrances to my site through www.moondoggieinc.com/dog-harness.php like 60-70 a day After yesterday, it's dropped to one or two! I haven't made any major changes to the site? I don't know what happened! I am starting to feel really discouraged and don't know what to do! I have no clue what my next move should be in trying to get this site working well in organic search. I feel lost now, PLEASE help! Any suggestions on what to do with http://www.moondoggieinc.com would be a great help! I feel so lost! THANKS! Kristy O

Hi, I need help with my htaccess file, I've been told. I moved a blog i had hosted somewhere else to a directory on my ecommerce site. I was told i would need to write something to go in the htaccess file so the sites would not become duplicate content, but I'm a novice and have no idea how to write that code. blog moved from www.whosyourmoondoggie.com to www.moondoggieinc.com/blog Please help, or direct me to the right tutorial 🙂 Thanks! Hi Everyone... I'm having issues on how I should fix the pagination on my ecommerce site http://www.moondoggieinc.com Right now I have rel="canonical" putting them all back to the main page like on: http://www.moondoggieinc.com/dog-harness.php but there are also some shop all categories like: http://www.moondoggieinc.com/products.php?cat=all+dog+harnesses But I wish I could get it so that the content only showed on the first page of them all and then just the products showed in the pagination after that. I have no clue how to make this happen successfully. I know this is a big problem with the structure to the site, creating some duplicate content and such, and I was wondering how I can even begin to go ahead and start tackling this. My background is as a designer so I'm just learning both seo, and anyhting past html / css, so I could really use any help you guys can offer. THANK YOU! KristyO

Hey, I recently (this past may) redesigned my e-commerce site from .asp to .php. I am trying to fix all the old pages with 301 redirects that didn't make it in the switch, but I keep getting weird pages coming up in GWT. I have about 400 pages under crawl errors that look like this "emailus.php?id=MD908070" I delete them and they come back. my site is http://www.moondoggieinc.com the id #'s are product #'s for products that are no longer on the site, but the site is .php now. They also do not show a sitemap they are linked in or any other page that they are linked from. Are these hurting me? and how do I get rid of them? Thanks! KristyO

Hi, I'm kind of a newbie and I'm working on an e commerce website. I would love to be able to optimize the site so that the keyword "dog boutique" was ranking for the homepage. B/C a lot of the pages call from php to create the meta data, most of generated page titles look like    "Product Name, Category - Moondoggie Dog Boutique" My question is would it be more helpful to just have Moondoggie Dog Boutique on the page title on the page I would like to rank for "dog boutique" and use Moondoggie Inc. or Just Moondoggie in it's place on all of the other pages? Am I jumping the gun on expecting results? I recently switched our ecommerce website from .asp to .php (new site went up May 15th) but we did not switch domain names. we seems to be doing better until a few days ago when traffic took a steep drop... (not like we were getting that much in the first place either) I was wondering if I'm doing something completely wrong or do i need to wait longer? Are big swings normal when relaunching a website? am I just being too anxious? The internal pages are getting no juice and I dont know why... I know i need to build on the links to the site?  but am I doing something else completely wrong to see the orgranic search results drop down to almost nothing? I'm really new to SEO and would love if i could get another opinion on http://www.moondoggieinc.com. Thanks! Kristy

Hi, I'm pretty new to SEO and I'm trying to figure out if I'm on the right track. Mid May I rebuilt a website completely from .asp to .php, the original site was completely makeshift and had some really un-pretty code in it, not to mention the design was completely out of date. Since I rebuilt it the search has slowed and then picked up a little now it's slowed to almost a stop. I know it hasn't been that long, but am I doing something wrong? I know the think i'm missing most is link-building which we are working on now, but is there something else I'm missing to make the search drop like this this past week? Hi! I'm kinda new to the SEO game and struggling with this site I'm working on: http://www.moondoggieinc.com I set the preferred domain to www. in GWT but I'm not seeing it reroute to that? I can't seem to get any of my internal pages to rank, and I was thinking it's possiblly b/c of a duplicate content issue cause by this problem. Any help or guidance on the right way to set preferred domain for this site and whiy I can't get my internal pages to rank? THANKS! KristyO
