RE: Spellcheck necessary for user generated content?

Interlinking 60 ccTLD country versions of website
We will be launching 60 new ccTLD country versions of an established core website.
Quality, human translated content in 35 languages.
We have a CSS dropdown menu with the 60 country flags and country/language name as anchor text. Formatted as deeplinks to the corresponding pages in the 60 country versions, that we planned to add on each page. How would you recommend to implement the interlinking between these 60 ccTLD?
My concerns are:
- won't we dillute the link value of our links in the main page content too much with links to 60ccTLD on each page?
- may we trigger a google penalty as the new ccTLD have no other links yet and each page will have the same anchor text and links from exactly the same 60 domains.
- would you place the country dropdown rather at the bottom of the page (e.g. footer) to avoid that google will not crawl all links in main content page.
Any thoughts or suggestions are appreciated

How to find out that none of the images on my site violates copyrights? Is there any tool that can do this without having to check manually image by image?
We plan to add several thousand images to our site and we outsourced the image search to some freelancers who had instructions to just use royalty free pictures.
Is there any easy and quick way to check that in fact none of these images violates copyrights without having to check image by image?
In case there are violations we are unaware of, do you think we need to be concerned about a risk of receiving Takedown Notices (DMCA) before owner giving us notification for giving us opportunity to remove the photo?

RE: Spellcheck necessary for user generated content?
Very good point relating to credibility of review and great relief that I do not have to perform spellchecks of thousands of reviews. Thanks.
Still may follow also Cristinas suggestions as poor spelling in user review may also reflect on visitors perception of website's credibility.

RE: Shall I automatically redirect international visitors from www.domain.com to e.g. www.domain.com/es? What is best SEO practice?
good point. thanks Gianluca.
But in this particular case crawling would not be an issue since non-English language versions are in subdirectories which are accessable via country dropdown. US google spider seeing the EN version in the main domain is exactly as desired. So if crawling is not an issue, do you still see a problem with option 3). To address your point, I would also enforce that if someone clicks via country dropdown to English version, that this person would not be redirected again.
What do you think?
In case of websites following an international one domain strategy such as booking.com, redirecting to subdirectory may be most convenient for vast majority of users, since the name of the main domain is promoted to users in different languages.

RE: Is "Car Discount" a problematic anchor text for CarDiscount.com (google penguin)?
Andy, thanks for sharing.
The special point here is that "Car Discount", "CarDiscount" and "CarDiscount.com" are actually the most natural anchor texts that an independent site owner may choose apart from full URL anchor you mentioned.
To give some context, I do not plan to build now many links with exactly this same anchor text. But these 3 anchor texts are actually the most frequent that other websites have chosen to link to me.
So my doubt is now, whether there is need for action and whether I should reach out to other websites to change the anchor text, if my aim is to rank well for "Car". Actually I dropped significantly in ranking on one of my sites for "Car" keyword, so I wonder whether it may be related (even though for date of ranking change it may rather be panda than penguin).
Also any experience whether CarDiscount or CarDiscount.com maybe better than "Car Discount"?

Thanks. Will post an update once we figured out this riddle.

1 Ecommerce site for several product segments or 1 Ecommerce site for each product segment ?
I am currently struggling with the decision whether to create individual ecommerce sites for each of 3 consumer product segments or rather to integrate them all under one umbrella domain.
Obviously integration under 1 domain makes link building easier, but I am not sure how far google will favor in rankings websites focussed on one topic=product segment.
Product segments are medium competitive.Product segments are not directly related but there may be some overlap in customer demographics-
Any thoughts ?

Capitalization of first letter of each word in meta description. Catches more attention, but may this lead to google ignoring the meta description then more frequently?
Capitalization of first letter of each word in meta description. Catches more attention, but may this lead to google ignoring the meta description then more frequently? Same for an occasional capitalized FREE in meta description.
Anybody had experience with this?

May integrating my main category page in the index page improve my ranking of main category keyword?
90% of our sales are made with products in one of our product categories.
A search for main category keyword returns our root domain index page in google, not the category page.
I was wondering whether integrating the complete main category directly in the index page of the root domain and this way including much more relevant content for this main category keyword may have a positive impact on our google ranking for the main category keyword.Any thoughts?
