Lexie graduated from Miami University with degrees in International Studies and Latin American Studies. She loves to travel, meet new people, and learn about new cultures. She spent 6 months studying abroad during college in Valparaíso, Chile, where she learned Spanish. After graduation she returned to Chile. She currently lives in the country’s capital, Santiago, where she has taken in the culture and the language.
She values international education and feels that everyone should travel abroad at least once in their lifetime. She believes an internship abroad is the perfect combination of both work and travel.
Lexie now works as the Head of Marketing at The Intern Group. She developed a keen interest in the field after doing an internship under the CMO of the world’s largest non-profits for social change called DoSomething.org. She also gained marketing experience during an internship with Seventeen Magazine. She loves her job and can’t wait to see how far The Intern Group will go in the coming years.
