I'm a fully Licensed and insured Captain through the U.S Coast Guard. As a young boy I grew up fooling mountain trout with a fly rod. Fishing around the northeast's Adirondack and Catskill mountains (the birthplace of fly fishing in the US), to the Blue ribbon trout streams of the west. My love for fishing, fresh and saltwater, sprung into a continuous pursuit of adventure. When not on the water locally fishing and looking to see what's around the next turn in the creek, my wife and I are usually planning our next adventure. My goal is to be able to share this wonderful resource with others while providing a safe and exciting experience in the Salt. For me the water is a place of reverence, for that reason we practice catch and release.
Lee Wulff once said, “Game fish are too valuable to only be caught once.”
We believe strongly in catch and release. We practice C.P.R which is Catch, Photo, and Release. We do this to ensure a healthy population of game fish for our next generation of anglers. After all, it is the fish that bring us to beautiful places like North Inlet, Winyah Bay and the Santee Delta. The beauty and richness of our estuary is simple indescribable.
