Honestly, just by doing my stuff I do for Google, all my words rank super high in Bing. It just happens there. They seem to also stick much better in Bing, very little movement once I am at the top.

RE: Gained Links but MozRank drops. Why?
Such a quick increase in links could mean spammy/low quality links or the ratio of follow/don't follow went awry and that would also decrease it.
In SEO it isn't as black and white as more links == better.

RE: How can a site rank higher when you beat them by A LOT on virtually every SEOMOZ factor?
What is the age of both domains?

RE: Block Low Quality Pages?
If they are of no value to anybody, I'd just block them.

RE: New server update + wrong robots.txt = lost SERP rankings
If this is all that happened the next crawl should fix it. Just sit tight and they should bounce up again in a week or so.

RE: Why Post Useless Blog Comments
Yup it's spambots like xrumer or w/e there is. Blackhatters tend to blast out like 10k links at once of which most won't get approved. It's quite annoying. Every WP blog I started so far was getting buried in these. Thank god for anti-spam widgets.

RE: Website Translation
Chrome takes care of that pretty well. I am not aware of any widgets per se. I assume you are looking to install this on your website, right?

RE: What website CMS system would you suggest?
Wordpress or Joomla strike me as the obvious choices. Both are free and really easy to use.

RE: Are links from flash sites worth anything?
If the link is embedded in the Flash part of the website, Google will have a hard time indexing it so most likely you will not get much out of it sadly. Flash components appear as a big nothing to the crawler.

RE: Is the Open Site Explorer Tool working right now?
Make sure you log-in on top of it. It worked for me just a moment ago.

RE: How to Add Content to a Product-Focused Site
I am in a similar situation. Your best bet would be a blog or something similar covering industry news or company related information, such as new features or similar. Also guides or so could be one source. It is difficult for this kind of website though to release content without it seeming out of place.

RE: I made a mistake on my root domain, how can I change it.
I don't see a way to edit it, so I'd recommend to just start a new campaign with the correct name.

RE: Linkbuilding TO Your Guest Blog Post?
If it gets you conversions and ultimately more money, of course. Just ranking highly doesn't make you more money, conversions are what matters in the end.

RE: 4XX Broken Links
If you are getting this information through the SEOmoz crawl, clicking on the red 'Error' button should give you details which URLs exactly give 4XX errors. It will show you which site returns the error, not where the link is though. If you forwarded the missing pages that would somewhat fix it. Another good idea to improve this would be to create a useful 404 error page that allows people to find what they need. Some advice on how to handle this: http://www.seomoz.org/blog/are-404-pages-always-bad-for-seo

RE: .com version and .org version of site
Yes, two websites will compete with each other. Why not forward one to the other. If it is a for-profit, I'd go with the .com and Non-Profit with .org. While this per-se might not be the rule, in many people minds the association is made that .org is non-profit. Might just add some trust to your website.

RE: Traffic Data Lag
I have the same problem. There always was a lag, but not as bad as now. It does show the update from 8/15 in my keywords, but not the overall traffic report.

RE: Are lots of links from an external site to non-existant pages on my site harmful?
404s are something do be avoided as it makes your website look 'abandoned' in a way. If possible, I would set up 301s or similar to send these links to your main website rather than to 404 pages. You could also create a nice 404 site.
See these for more information:

A bit of work can go a long way.

RE: Embracing Piracy...
Alan,
I think you misunderstand the situation, they don't seem to be stealing content, but actual products.
You could try the approach you suggested, but be ready to be 'ripped apart' by a mostly malicious community on this kind of pages. They usually do not take lightly to outsiders.
If you want to stop piracy, I assume contacting the admins for removal and filing DMCA claims would be the way to go.
