My name Mark Khoder. I am 29 years old and I live in Melbourne, Australia. I am
a husband and proud father of two little girls. If you are a local shop owner, I am
just like you. I have personally owned, managed, and worked in local businesses
for years. I have worked as a Customer Service Rep, Cleaner, Bookkeeper,
Merchandiser, Marketing Rep, Order-placer, Stocktaker, Inventory Control Clerk,
Cook, Barista and Dishwasher.

I understand how local businesses operate. I have watched the economy change
and consumer behaviours change. I’ve watched some shops go out of business
because they don’t know how to adapt to changing consumer behaviours and
needs. I’ve watched as other businesses hold on from day to day and barely
break even. And then there’s the champions, who learn what they need to learn
from their own customers, adapt to new technologies, and go on to thrive.
