Ok great, you're at least also of the opinion that bigger sites will need an actual implementation. I want to make sure to at least mention these articles too, to not give people the idea that they should all go ahead to implement it through GTM, as it's still not a recommended way to go:

Look into itemList in combination with Product Schema.org, what you could do here is make sure that the template in WordPress has this embedded in the code. So, in that case, you'll make sure that the content is marked up in the right way and you don't have to worry about it when you have content that is being deleted/updated/removed.

It depends what currently is in your robots.txt. Usually it would be useful to have another one for your subdomain.

A manifest file is an overview of the files you're using for your app in the Chrome Web Store. If it's missing Google is not capable of knowing where to find all the files and how to use them for your app. You should include such a file in the root folder of your app as this error says. Cool question, the answer is already given and is NO. Google is rolling out the bigger algorithmic updates per region or per country. For example the first version(s) of the Panda update were only released for the regions speaking English. After that they deployed it to several european countries to see what the influence was there. In the end after a couple of months they deployed it worldwide.

I couldn't find it that fast but I thought there was also a video from Matt Cutts explaining that some elements of the algorithm only work for specific countries.

I wouldn't say that Google would start ignoring the more often but more that it might be that they're going to use other pieces of the text that they think might be mor relevant or changes the capitalization themselves in the SERPs while using your own text.

Yes they will be eventually. As you disallow Google to crawl the URLs it will probably start hiding the descriptions for some of these image pages soon as they can't crawl them anymore. Then at some point they'll stop looking at them at all.
