Thank you for the fast response, indeed I'll better use fresh content.
I was wondering if using content from archive from my old domain would not lead to punishment from google.
Thank you!

Hello all,
I just were looking on Archive.org and though what if i use the content from a really old website thats already been un-indexed. Could i just use this content on my new website and will it not be duplicate content?
Thank you for your comment!
Kind regards,
Thank you for your fast reply.
The old domain name is a .nl and the new domain is a .com in my country .nl ranks little better than the .com. So also this will count, but i also think ill do a 301 redirect from old domain to new domain. I might help a little, it has indeed been expired. Though it is old and still has PA and DA.
Kind regards,
Menno
ps. i made it discussion because i am also curious on other opinions
Dear Seo experts,
1,5 month ago i started a informative website, i started it with a blank registrated domainname. Now 1 month further I've stacked the website with content and did much linkbuilding.
Yesterday i ve bought a domainname from quarantine, its a domainname around 6 years old and has a bunch of backlinks already.
What to do next? The first one has good content and good recent linkbuilding done. The second is a better domainname and is old and has old backlinks. And also higher PA and DA then the first one.
Should i now go for the first one and 301 redirect the old domainname to the new one.
Or should I do it the opposite way, 301 redirect the new website to the old domainname and move all content to the old domainname and try to move all linkbuilding to older domain?
Hopefully anyone could give me a great answere, thank you so much!
Kind regards,
Menno
I think you are right, in the past i bought the other website from a competitor.
Maybe it is a idea in the future to redirect one website to another and then move all content to one website.
Thank you very much for your time and help.
Really appreciate it!
Thank you very much for your fast reply to my question.
The websites are not linking to eachother, however they're content uses content that is about the same thing. The difference is like plasma television and lcd television.
I think i could better get a new host than risking to get punished by google right?
Hello Guys,
I have a little question, i got 2 websites that are hosted on the same host.
Now i could get 2 links on one website to direct to each of the websites on the same host.
Does this effect my seo ranking, because the websites are on the same host?
Thank you for your advice!
Kind regards,
The social proof wont be the problem. Ill give the products for free to my customers, to download directly they have to Like or Tweet otherwise they need to wait 30 seconds.
But will the RSS update benefit my rankings in Google you think (long term)?
Hi SEOmoz members,
Currently I am researching my competitor and noticed something what i dont really understand.
They have hundreds of static pages that dont change, the content is already the same for over 6 months.
Every time a customer orders a product they use their rss feed to publish: "Customer A just bought product 4"
When i search in Google for product 4 in the last 24 hours, its always their with a new publishing date but the same old content.
Is this a good SEO tactic to implant in my own site?
Thanks for the advice. Think ill go with it and redesign structure to get more info on one page, so i can also put more effort in unique articles ( only around 700 then). Wich saves me time + make my website better for SEO.
