I am a huge fan of the craft beer and wine industries. As a native St. Louisan, beer has been ingrained in me since my earliest memories. After receiving a chemistry degree from Loyola University Chicago, brewing my own beer became a natural hobby. I faced a conundrum when it came to deciding which type of graduate school to pursue. One part of me wanted to become a master brewer. The other part, along with most of my family, pushed for law school. I do not regret my choice. As an intellectual property attorney, I enjoy helping entrepreneurs develop and secure their patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets. It has become a passion. Combining that with my home brewing hobby seemed logical.
