Trained in cultural anthropology, I am fascinated and inspired by human culture and behavior. I conducted funded research in the US, Japan, and Australia, and communicated the results in 2 invited lectures, 8 national conference presentations, and 3 publications.
Now, as Coordinator of Publications and Programs, I support the humanities at Harvard University. I manage 34 seminars and 2 fellowships, and publicize all events and programs at the Mahindra Humanities Center. Key to this endeavor is an understanding of, and connection with, the Center's audience. I thus leverage my anthropological perspective and writing skills to increase awareness and engagement via print publications, social media, and a website.
I also serve as a Contributing Editor and Social Media Team member for the journal Cultural Anthropology, Communications Chair of the Harvard Asian American Alumni Alliance (HAAAA), and Social Media and Website Committee member of the Association of Harvard Asian and Asian American Faculty and Staff (AHAAAFS).
