I started my personal career in Interactive Communication as a founder member of the company SHiFT Interactive, originally incorporated on the back of a touchscreen-based system called M-trax (later SoundSurfer). These systems allowed user to browse music samples from albums on sale in stores throughout South Africa.

Later, huge market demand for interactive applications allowed us to begin creating custom solutions for clients both locally and internationally – our "secret sauce" being a zero learning-curve philosophy and man-machine interface design.

My experience includes the development, implementation and maintenance of Digital Signage, Touchscreen Interactive Kiosks and web solutions for companies such as MTN, Vodacom, Telkom, Nissan, BMW, Volkswagen, People’s Bank, and Zim Trust Bank locally, and the deployment of SoundSurfer as well as a video browser solution in Denmark.

I founded iOMedia in 2006 to focus on man-machine interface design, and later expanded my portfolio to include new media (web and in-store digital solutions) consulting, interactive business process management, and hardware design.
