Making Websites Work Better
I grew up across the Canadian Prairie Provinces, going to high school in Brandon. MB, then off to to be a student athlete at Lewic-Clark State College in Idaho. I mixed in some summers with the Canadian National baseball team and eventually ended up with a B.A. in Business (LCSC) and an MBA from the U of Saskatchewan. Met my wife and we started careers in Swift Current, then Regina then Saskatoon where we have been living for the past 15 years. The family grew with the addition of our children, Kyle, Brett, then Kelsey and now we chase them across the city, Province, country, and continent in their sporting activities.
I ran the Marketing departments for a number of Marketing award winning companies in Saskatchewan before I decided to start out on my own as a Digital Marketing Consultant and that was the beginning of Netnotic Marketing which provides website development, SEO, and SEM to companies, large and small, from Ontario, to Alberta, to Texas, and of course close to home in Saskatchewan.
If I'm not working, I'm at a ball field coaching, in a gym watching wrestling, at the lake fishing, or in the field hunting. My newest definition of my life is that "I am a full time recreational sportsman and a part time Digital Marketing Consultant." The current ratio is more like 5% to 95% but I'm working on getting that reversed.
So that brings me to today, using Moz to help improve the Digital Marketing efforts of my clients and thinking about how to call back ducks that flared before they were in range.
