I think the far better answer is to simply include a link to the Facebook page in the newsletter and invite people to like the page from there. Believe it or not, there are some people who are not on Facebook, so getting an email inviting them to like the page would be worthless. I think the minimal likes you'd get out of it is not worth the risk of being viewed as a spammer.

I think the far better answer is to simply include a link to the Facebook page in the newsletter and invite people to like the page from there. Believe it or not, there are some people who are not on Facebook, so getting an email inviting them to like the page would be worthless. I think the minimal likes you'd get out of it is not worth the risk of being viewed as a spammer.
I enjoy working in the Social Media space as it helps businesses get their personality out on the web and it is measurable. You can embark upon a Social Media campaign and know whether or not it's working or if you need to change gears.
