In digital marketing I focus on driving traffic to websites and optimizing websites as a lead generation tool. I routinely utilize services and tools including HubSpot, Salesforce, Google Adwords, Adroll, Constant Contact, Vocus/PR Web, WordPress and much more.
I first became interested in Marketing when I co-hosted a radio show at Roanoke College while studying business. When starting out we had an extremely small listener base. The show was only broadcast in a 10 mile radius from the campus in Salem, Virginia, but also streamed live online at wrke.org. Through social media and word of mouth marketing, we were able to grow our listener base from nothing to having the station phone ringing off the hook with requests every single weekend. Seeing this sort of growth over the course of 4 years in college has me hooked on marketing.
