Our Client has a pest control site with tons of articles. We suggested they link their articles to their author. They said they want an allies they can keep separate. We said ok... From what I understand google uses author score to help determine rankings. If a author that all of a sudden has 400 pages of content attributed to him and he is new to google plus will this hurt his rankings? This is an area where I need to spend some time learning. thanks.

One of our client gets links from his content but he has ads everywhere. We were thinking he would get more links if he took down the ads. I think when people see a bunch of ads on a site they associate it with crap spammy content . What do you guys think? More specific adsense link and banner units. one square one letter board one tiny square all above the fold.

Our client is a b2b pest control company. they are making software and sell leads and some day want to rank for bed bugs. they want to get into social media but I am having the hardest time coming up with ideas.

Our client owns a very big pest control site. They are competing with pestmall, orkin, terminex to name a few. Almost all of there competitors are spamming like crazy. For some of their competitors it is working. They get natural links very slowly.  Maybe 1 natural link every week. How can a not so passionate subject get links? Here was my ideas. Offer a tool to pest control sites for a link in return. The flaw is most pest control company owners are not tech savy and if they are they have hired it out. I just really need some ideas. Can somebody help me figure out this bing redirect error. The link to "http://w******/flea-control" has resulted in HTTP redirection to "http://w******/feas/flea-control/".Search engines can only pass page rankings and other relevant data through a single redirection hop. Using unnecessary redirects can have a negative impact on page ranking. I am using wordpress. I am actually linking to the /feas/flea-control/ version. I have looked every where for help. I'm doing a site that will have many many pages.
Now I have heard that you get more seo value if its a lower tear so for example: site.com/product rather than site.com/brand/subbrand/product Is this correct? Should I structure my site like this? site.com/product
site.com/brand points to site.com/product (so all products are on the sub root.) Does that make sense?

If a keyword get 50% difficulty on the keyword tool what would it be if it was an exact match domain. Would it go down to 30% What if it was just one character off an exact match or one word? Thank you in advance!
