Favorite Thing about SEO
What i love about SEO is it is always changing, and you can either do it or you can't , no amount of money will get you to the first page.
I have been doing SEO for a couple of years now. I first started when I was living in Bali, I had a friend that had a web development company, and one day over a couple of Bintang’s we got onto the topic of SEO. I have always been technically minded and asked him if try it with one of his clients to see if I could do it. He gave me Rip Curl Surf School to look after as there where not ranking for surf school in Bali, I told him I would do it for free because I wanted to learn. After a few months I had them in the number 1 spot, I tell you I was chuffed. While in Bali I started an online business of my own a relished the chance to start SEO on my business. After a few months I had my new business ranking first page with a three month old website in a competitive niche and sales started to take off. Later that year I was back in Australia and my friend from Bali had 4 clients that wanted me to do for them what I did for Rip Curl, but this time they were going to pay, he asked me to put a proposal together so he could give it to his clients, I told him I would go him one better and I would build a website so all the information they needed was in the one spot, and HOW SEO was born. Since then I have been somewhat obsessed with SEO, I read everything I can get my hands on and am always trying new and innovative ways to rank myself and now my clients with safe and ethical methods. I am a little obsessive at time and SEO is my new passion.
