RE: Paying someone to get me links-bad idea?
Hey Bridal, I don't believe it's such a great idea, honestly. That may be just so close as spam that I wouldn't take the risk, but instead you could pay for a lot of other actions that could lead to earn links just adhering to wh tactics...like doing an awesome infographic, releasing a free pdf or doc, and such things.
Those automatic build links (or close to spam) usually drive not to a penalization but to loose money and/or time because SE's are going to unweight them usually really really fast.

RE: SEOmoz total links fluxuations
Mathew, maybe that competitor got some links showing at the homepage/blogroll/all pages in a domain because it was a recent post or whatever, and when they've updated it, the 99% of the links are gone. Temporal issues like that one can also be seen at the webmaster tools also.
maybe it's some kind of error of the seomoz tool, dunno, but just a thought too

RE: SEO hosting (EU/Spanish IP's) any1?
Really useful info. Didn't know 1and1 did offer it and I'll check Maven too. I do own 6 different accounts in spanish hosting (my principal target) but they don't use to have more than a pair of C-class IP's per datacenter, so you get redundant after building a short "wheel" or you become crazy (the point I am lol).
Thank you Marco

SEO hosting (EU/Spanish IP's) any1?
Hello all,
I'm currently trying to find a great hosting company which can offer a fast and stable service and more important, with the possibility of geolocalizing IP's of Europe and concretely for Spain.
I've found Ixwebhosting but they only offer US Ip's, as their datacenters are there. I don't know if it's the same thing outside spain, but here the hosting companies only use to have a single "C-class" range so even buying them different IP's doesn't help that much, and it isn't cheap (2€/month/ip...).
So if you know someone offering what I'm looking for (or really close to it) drop a line, I'll appreciate your help!

RE: It's imposible to keep track of rankings?
As Andres said, I honestly didn't care a sh*t about WMT average rankings when I first started, but hey, you know what? Now i luv them, more frustrating but closer to the realilty

RE: Hiring an SEO company
In my opinion, what you should do, is to call yourself some of these companies and talk with their techie director/ceo/seo director. If you know seo yourself, you gonna see fast who knows, who says they know and who doesn't know. Also you can discover lot of useful info about the company, the method/s and such interesting things + comparing these with well-kwnown SEO's around you, like those Wissam wrote for example.
After that is just up to your criteria + the budget/prices

RE: Keyword rich domains sliding fast
I'm totally with Alan, that drop in the "weight" of the domains containing keywords is not already affecting at all I think, at least outside G.com. After all Mr Cutts has only said that they were probably going to adjust it, but I believe we have to wait until that changes.
