The world has changed in my lifetime beyond measure! The opportunities to engage across a broad spectrum of geographical regions and communicate en-mass in real time is driving social trends and commercial decisions.
Each market has converging similarities, be it supermarkets, laboratory supply businesses or holiday rental marketing. It is this commonality of models and understanding of the business drivers and rapidly changing environments, especially in economically challenging times that keeps me off the drugs!
We have had to address all these issues and I am a great believer in combining technology and human nature. We are all engrossed in our daily lives and this is now meshed closely with technology. Mobile, virtual, wearable, fast, instant, traceable, the demands are all there. We do however expect this to be supported by real people and millions of years of genetic development cannot escape the fact we are social (think Facebook) and expect human interaction. Personal service in this environment is still very very important.
