Hi Iris,

I assume you're on wordpress if you use yoast, but if it's the only video on your website you can also create your own sitemaps. Please read this post by Phil Nottingham -> http://www.distilled.net/blog/video/creating-video-sitemaps-for-each-video-hosting-platform/ . It shows how to create video sitemaps for all platforms, including Vimeo.

RE: Hashtag in url seems to remove the google plus one

Looks like it's good. I have the same problem with Facebook, so I added the url in the FB embed code but Google does it automatically.
