Currently a SEM Performance Specialist at EngineWorks, Inc., in Portland, OR. Robert brings to EngineWorks over 15 years of experience managing people, processes and projects, with more than a decade being in the high-tech sector. His focus at EngineWorks is paid search campaign management (Robert is a Google AdWords certified partner) and social media, with search engine optimization and link building being minor functions.
Most recently, Robert worked with a start-up online community SaaS provider, Process Path, Inc., as their Director of Internet Marketing and Strategies. Prior to Process Path, Robert worked with a start-up search engine marketing agency in Portland, where he was the senior account manager. This included managing client website analytics and reporting, paid search campaign management, search engine optimization, website analysis, and social media marketing. He also helped create and implement many of the processes and procedures used to ensure the business was successful.
Robert is also the principal at RPerro Media, a search engine marketing and social media consultancy. He consults with local businesses to ensure they have a solid online marketing plan, and their websites are properly optimized for search engines, particularly local search strategies for Google Maps and Bing Local. He also provides guidance on social media, and pay-per-click campaign management. Robert holds a degree in Business Administration from Oregon State University, as well as certifications specific to SEM.
Outside of work, Robert enjoys running and weightlifting, mountain biking, hiking, rock and mountain climbing, and spending time with his family and friends. He is also a collector and connoisseur of fine wines from around the world. He is an active member of many communities in Portland geared toward technology and marketing, such as PDX Mindshare, Young Professionals of Portland, and the Portland Social Media Club.
