How does social book marking benefit my website in terms of SEO?

I am in the real estate business, and I am trying to get three key phrases to rank well for azbestlistings.com homes for sale in casa grande az, homes for sale in mesa az, and homes for sale in yuma az.

These three key phrases are cities that I and two other realtors work separately. We all have our own city on the team. Hence, I want to get myself into the first 5. However, I am coming nowhere near page 1 for these key phrases, so I figured from what everybody tells me I need back links.

I work all day long as a realtor, so my brain is not super focused by the time I sit down to do my seo work. Basically working two long jobs, so if somebody says go back linking I say ok, but just where do I do it in the quickest and smartest way since I do not have a ton of time to do it.

Each agent is responsible for working their city or city pages.

Where can I go to get follow backlinks to my site to improve my DA and PA, etc?

This is my final thought on the subject matter. Take away us small business people and tech people. We are online playing more so in a business fashion than most. I bet we are online more than most. The people online are not out there google+ this and that. I know I do not google+ anything. I do not look on facebook or twitter for anything. I really outside of my niche real estate and working on SEO do anything online. I will book a hotel, a flight, a room, etc online. I might buy an eBook, etc too. So really what do people do online. Yes, there are transactions, etc every second, but really are they from social media?

I do not know where Photo people go to get business, but the only way I would do any photo work with anybody in any social media is if it was a dear friend I knew rocked at photo work. Otherwise, I am going to bing it, and see what I find.

Google is like the Miami heat. Not sure when the people will turn from google. In 20 years where will google be?

Time requires energy, time is money, etc, so what is your true ROI on this. How does it impact your bottom line? You are right it is not set it and forget it, but is it truly the most profitable thing you can do with your time.  I would not waste a single penny on twitter, google+ facebook, etc. However, I do enjoy social places (Not social Media) like www.cre8asiteforums.com here I can give and get, and network for a niche thing or things I need and can hopefully give. All social media will eventually die. I love Chevy, I love Pepsi, and the list goes on, but I am not chilling in their social media areas. Those are giants, so a spending less than .0001% of their money there.

Google+ Facebook, Twitter, and the list goes on. They are social viruses. They bog you down thinking you will get something out of nothing, and you miss things that actually give you real ROI. I do not know how old you are, but back in the days the hot thing were these live chat rooms like a craigslist in away- real time micro post going on and you go go PM somebody. These were in like MSN or Yahoo or somewhere. Great place to meet the ladies back in the day. Then it eventually migrated to MySpace then Facebook (where 1:3 people state they are board with it) to something new and just straight up wasting your time. Speaking of Facebook I look at it and say really? Where is the value. Then I ask my kids where is the true value in facebook, and nobody has the answer- then bamb it goes IPO and fools buy it. Just make sure you are not buying into anything with social media outside of keeping a super clean image for business reviews.

I have a guy rebuilding the site, and it now has that arizona back foreclosure stuff in there. I asked him from day one to remove it. It is on all of my page titles. I am stuck not know where to remove it from since it automatically goes through all of my pages.

Should I change my URL and do a 301 redirect to keep any juice?

Can you please tell me what I can do to improve the SEO of this page. I feel like I am seeing the forest and not the trees or the other way around. How important is internal link building? What is the right way of doing it, and what is the wrong way of doing it?

I have pages that are low used for example HUD homes for sale in Casa Grande AZ, or a subdivision like Wildwood homes for sale in Casa Grande AZ. If I did a redirect on them to just homes for sale in Casa Grande AZ would I get more than link juice? If somebody actually was looking for Wildwood homes for sale in Casa Grande AZ still be able to find me?

How important is word count? I am using seomoz to make sure I get an A, but it does not include word count.  I am in the middle of restructuring my website and I did not know if the word count is way too low. How low is too low for choosing to use a key phrase for one of your articles, website pages, etc. I see some with 100 local and global searches. Is this too low to really be spending the time working on this key phrase?

They have no local or global results in the analyzer. Just shows the difficult level. How do I choose what one to do, or are they simply not really worth my time?

I am like Alan, DIY SEO guy. I am not a pro, but I want to master the SEO stuff and who knows maybe one of these days leave my career as realtor to be an SEO pro like you all. It would be nice to get the program for us that does not offer the reports, etc. I feel you are leaving money on the table, but that is for you to worry about. I am going to stick around. I just want to learn how to use it to max myself out. So, I should blog to drive targeted audience to my site(s) via blogging.  Then point most of the links back to the index. Once in awhile mix it up and sprinkle a few on my important pages. I am a realtor, so I have subjects like cities, subdivisions, foreclosures, listings, regular sellers, etc, etc, so it is fine to talk about all of these unique topics and point them to the for example www.azbestlistings.com and google will do what google does to get my other pages to the top? I asked a different question, which this one might over lap. Say your website has 100 pages, and you blog on different sites for back linking- should you do an article per page to keep the back linking to each page fresh? So for a person like me this would take me 100 days to recycle around. Just trying to figure out the best way to do back linking.

What is more important to to create a strong PA or a Strong DA? I do not do a ton of back linking to my index page. I focus more on my focus page I am working on. I watch a SEOMOZ video and I took that DA is the most important as he only did back links to his index if I understood right.

When I do this search I see it is other sites pointing back to me, so I confused.
