Would love an update. Been waiting for Moz to fix the SNI problem for what seems like ages.

RE: 804 HTTPS (SSL) error
I see that Jon updated the other thread with some info on the 16th of September. It seems like its being worked on, but that its not released in beta yet (from my understanding of what Jon writes on the other thread).
It would be helpful if Moz gave us something about their timeframe for this. With Google Chrome already displaying the exclamation mark for sites without SSL - and soon displaying a warning next to the exclamation mark - a lot of sites are moving to start using SSL - and most of them will be using SNI.
Its already a problem for a lot of the sites that I monitor. So its starting to become a serious pain point, and it will only get worse.

RE: Error Code 804: HTTPS (SSL) Error Encountered
When are you going to fix your crawler? SNI is supported by all modern browsers and will be becoming more and more common as services like Lets Encrypt makes it free and easy to implement SSL, as well as Google and Mozilla working towards basically making it mandatory to use SSL on your site.
This issue has been known to Moz for more than a year, its time to step up the game and make sure your crawler supports modern web standards.

RE: Does Rogerbot support SNI? - And if not All sites behind Cloudflare are probably uncrawlable.
Just want to point out that all modern browsers support SNI and more and more sites will be using it as Google and Mozilla start to make their browsers warn users of unencrypted sites.
That this issue hasn't been fixed since it was brought to Moz.com's attention is disappointing.

Looks like your connection to Moz was lost, please wait while we try to reconnect.
