Where can I find a list of free international directories that worth submitting?

I am thinking of implementing coral cdn to my site however I have serious doupts. It says you just add .nyud.net to the end of your urls. Now that is easy but in my read it totally masses up my url structure.How do you think google handles this? Does it handle that at all? I would like to implement a free cdn as for that particular page. Does anybody know any free service good and free? Anybody? Experience?

I have recently created a page and added expires headers, nonconfigured e-tags and gzip to htaccess code and just after that according to pingdom tools my page load time has doupled although my yslow ponts went from 78 to 92. I always get a lite bit lost with this technical issue. I mean obviously a site should not produce worse results with adding these parameters and this increase in page load time should rather be due to bandwith usage. I suppose I should leave this stuff in the htacces. Than what is an accurate way to know if you have done a real improvement to your site or your load time has really went up? This question is more up to date with css sprites as I always read that sometimes spriting every picture is a waste of resources. How can you decide when to stop?

I have a page and I want to remove .html ending from urls. What should I write in the htaccess?

I have some urls in my site due to a rating counter. These are like: domain.com/?score=4&rew=25
domain.com/?score=1&rew=28
domain.com/?score=5&rew=95 These are all duplicate content to my homepage and I want to 301 redirect them there. I tried so far: RedirectMatch 301 /[a-z]score[a-z] http://domain.com

What is a proper way to redirect any url containing a give word (anywhere in the url) to another sepcified url? Is it like this? RedirectMatch 301 ^thisword$ http://domain.com/newlocation

I personally haven't seen anything like this before. I am optimizing my first worldwide page. The rank checker at seomoz and another rankchecker as well says that I achieve rankings in the Us and in the UK as well for my 2-3 word terms. However if I copy a paste a whole sentence from either of my pages (8-10 words) google can not find my site. If I put the terms in quotes than it is ok, but it still cannot find the home page. Not any sentence with or without quotes from the home page, although this page has the most incoming links. Anybody any idea how can it be?

Can I somehow look which of my answers were marked as good answers?

Is there any speed checker to check your page load time on localhost so that bandwith does not affect the result? Preferably I'd like one that lists critical issuse or solutions that can be improved.

When launching a site to google.com where can you submit it to get a few quick lnks to be enough for indexing and startup? As I saw directory pages are kinda slow you can wait months for your submission. How can you gain quick links? Can you name some sites?

I put up my last site on the web since a month. So far I have been optimizing mainly to Hungary and I got used to that my content was indexed in a day and if content was good it sometimes appeared in the first two pages in a couple of days. Now with my new site I am targeting google.com. I put it up since a week, sent the sitemap to google, it was intresting for mee te see that even the pages to get into the web index needed two days. Seomoz says my site is all right besides some duplicate content issue i will solve soon. So it is past a week and even if I copy a complete sentence from the beginning of my home page and paste it into google my site does not appear. I also purchased couple of backlins but they have not appeared so far as well. Is that really this slow? Am I to impatient? Or should there be something else problem I should be looking for? Hello There, There is a section about Mozpoints I can not understand. It says if you get 500+ points: Free members who reach +500 mozPoints are eligible for access to the PRO Q&A section where you can respond to and view questions immediately after being posted. I can now access to this section with my 30 or so points. I am surely getting something wrong. What is the actual benefit?

We are rebuilding a website and try to get rid of errors. The content remains exactly the same but we correct the code and make it load faster. The site has quite many backlinks and I can't decide whether to remove .html endings from the urls and 301 redirect to the new ones or leave them with the older ending. If I remove the endings how much of the link juice will be passed? Anyone any idea?

Hello Everyone, I am from Hungary and i'd like to ask about a Hungarian site: www.viagra.info.hu. (do not need to speak Hungarian to be able to answer) If you type viagra in google.hu this is the first page of 183 million (not bad) with a wonderful number of 6 backlinks, coming before wikipedia and 70000 backlink sites. Additional info: site is one year old:) I can not discover the black hat but surely there is. Any idea? My other question is how they are doing that when looking from the serps below their description tag there are 3 links (their menus) that are not sitelinks? Someone please help me
