I am a psychology researcher turned marketer.
Over the past year I have excelled rapidly in the marketing space, contributing industry-changing ideas utilizing my background in applied social psychology. I helped to launch a brand new marketing agency in 2016 and raised the agency from a point of zero public awareness to an established name in the San Diego marketing community.
I attained my management role at my marketing agency, Campaign Creators, in less than one year in the industry. I have a passion for teaching and mentoring which has lead to providing an internship program for 3-5 students per semester. I have been sought out for my expertise by professional marketing groups, including SD Inbound Marketing and San Diego's American Marketing Association.
In my spare time, I advise fellow PhD graduates on how to make a career move out of academics and into business and industry through my work with Versatile PhD. I also volunteer my time to teach free implicit bias courses for organizations and teach children business and finance skills through the Junior Achievement of San Diego's programs.
