yeah i think contacting the linking sites would just be far too time consuming and take too long to impact the site. Its crazy how a expired domain can just clone a site and start ranking so well. MY site has some decent authority in the health sector but its been taken over by this one!

My site has been live more than 8 years i noticed this clone about 3 months ago.

I have the registrant details from the domain tools search and i have tried emailing the contact on here without response.

But how do I find out who the hosting company is?

Thanks for your reply, Everything terminates in russia from my whois lookups and cant find details of who hosts the site. Have tried DMCA to google but will give the same approach to other search engines a try my main concern however is Google.

My site is http://www.medic8.com and http://www.mealldubh.org has cloned my site and is now outranking my site.

I have submitted DMCA requests to Google with no response.

I do not know what to do now but surely it should be obvoius that this site has cloned me and there must be a way to have this scraper removed from the index?

Im lost in terms of what I can do next so any help would be greatly appreacited.

Thanks for this this was what i was looking for in terms of advice. I was only a bit skeptical about having an australian site that ranks as well as a uk site on page one. and if they are both giving out the same info how useful would this be.

The linkbuilding shouldnt be too difficult.

Thanks for this hanna, its the homepage ranking for the same term in both UK and Oz.

i have been told that when the Ozzzies see a .co.uk they are less likely to click on the result.

if i launched a .com.au version of the site with unique content but deliveroing the same info do you think this would be an issue?

I have a website that ranks number 1 in google.co.uk for its main key term and ranks number 4 in google.com.au.

However i would rather that visitors in australia see domain.com.au rather than domain.co.uk.

Is there a way to achieve this using some clever 301s without impacting the rankings in australia and so that the .com.au starts to rank in place of the .co.uk

OR

Would you advise launching a .com.au version of the site hosted separately with unique / re-written content on it.?

Is there a tool on here (or anywhere else) where you can upload a list of sites (say 500 sites) and be given things like mozrank on it?
