RE: My e-commerce competes with my own wholesalers
Hi James, thanks for the answer. Sorry for the misunderstanding. I run a retail e-commerce with my own manufactured products.
I also have a wholesaler program so small retailers can sell my product line along with other items on their retail e-commerce website. Those retailers use same photos and descriptions from my retail website.
It`s not duplicate content if they use the same picture and description?

My e-commerce competes with my own wholesalers
Hi guys,
I run a wholesale program, frequently my e-commerce competes with my own wholesalers on many websites like Etsy for example.
Usually, the wholesaler displays the exact same picture of my website.
May Google find that I have duplicate content? Is there any alternative solution for this instead of asking the wholesaler to make their own pictures?
Thanks

RE: Google Merchant XML don`t allow price variations, so I have two options
Thanks!
But what about the same item with different prices? Apparently now I have those 3 options from safe to risky
- Chose just one material/price per product (the best seller). No risk of Google punishment.
- Create material-option products with material choice and display just one price (weird)
- Create single products each one with its own name, material and price with the risk of Google understand that we are duplicating products.

Google Merchant XML don`t allow price variations, so I have two options
Hi guys
I have a question about google merchant set up: Products on my website have a single URL with the material option. Each material has a different price for the same product. Ex: A Winter Coat, if it is leather the price is $100 if it is fabric is $80 if it is on Nylon $60.
Google Merchant XML dont allow price variations, so I have two options1) Create only one entry for product and chose one price. When the user arrives on the page he can choose other material and prices. MXL ExProduct: Winter Coat, price 60, Product: www.store.com/winter-coat2) Create a single entry on the XML for each product/material variant. Ex:Product 1: Winter Coat Leather, price 100, www.store.com/winter-coat?q=leatherProduct 2: Winter Coat Fabric, price 80, www.store.com/winter-coat?q=fabric Product 3: Winter Coat Nylon, price 60, www.store.com/winter-coat?q=nylonWhich one it
s better for SEO? On option 2 Google can punish me for duplicate products? Thanks -
Disavow or not? Negative SEO
Since last November we have been receiving a lot of low quality backlinks from over 700 websites.
It looks like one of our pages from our website has been copied with the links being kept as they are. I have left a link to an example of this here: https://goo.gl/eWQODJ Please note, all examples seem to be copied in the same way.
We have also started seeing a decrease in the amount of organic traffic (Analytics Picture), As you can see the decrease is not yet so drastically high, but it is still a decrease and this is the third consecutive month we have seen this decrease.
Do you think it is worth it to use Disavow tool for all of these bad link or not?

Bad backlinks is it possible that Google is penalizing me?
Hi guys, since December I'm receiving thousands of bad backlinks from websites that copy my content and content from other websites. I also noticed a drop in the organic visits each month.
Is it possible that Google is penalizing me for those backlinks? I know that I can ask the webmaster to remove the links but I don't believe that they will do. Look like it's a robot that does all this automatically.
Should I use the Google disavow tool? Any other ideas?
Check images below please.
Thanks! -
Reuse an old juicy URL or create a new with the best practices?
I'm optimizing a site with all new URL`s, categories, titles, descriptions. All URL's will change but I've old URLs with a lot of backlinks, SEO juice. What is better for SEO with them:
1 - Change those URLs and 301 redirect traffic to the new page.
2 - Keep the URL and work just on new title, description, etc.In option 1 I understand that I'll lose some SEO juice because of the redirect, but the new URL will be correct. In option 2 everything will be strong except from the URL that will make less sense than with option 1. It will not exactly match the product name, title. It`s a reuse of a strong URL.

SEO impact: Link categories on the description of the products
Hi,
Is there any positive or negative SEO impact if I link product categories on the description of the products? Ex: At the product page of the Passenger Car Blue, a link to the Passenger Car category of the website on the product description.
Or this is more a UX question?
The product page already has a breadcrumb on top. Thanks!
