Yeah I have started my link building...
Launched that particular site about 3 months ago.
That's the issue. I get no info through my SEOmoz or opensite explorer.
Could it be possible that the 1and1 system is causing it issues?

Hi there guys,
I have a website (www.advanced-incarcamerasystems.com) that I built quickly using the 1and1 service in the UK.
I have been an SEOmozzer since about the beginning of June/July time and still not seeing any link info. It also seems to be struggling in terms of SEO.
1and1 have their own built in tools such as modifying certain SEO parts of a website but it really doesn't seem to do much.
Our main site (www.advanced-incar.co.uk) has gone from strength to strength since using SEOmoz so im at a bit of a loss.
Any help / advice anybody can throw my way would be great!
Tim
Nice in depth response there Sanket!!
Thanks for the advice. I will bear it all in mind when im working on link building!
Thanks for the Link Roberto!
Will check that out tonight!
Tim
Hi Anthony,
Thanks for the advice.
We do work with quite a few brands and manufacturers both in the actual products we sell and install (Parrot / Fiscon etc etc). We then work for dealers near to us (Audi / VW / BMW).
Tim
Keiran,
Thanks for the response! Its a great step by step you've done.
Thanks very much Donnie!!
Will have a good read over the weekend!!
Hi Guys & Girls.
Following my previous question, I seem to really be getting to grips with SEOmoz and all its features which seem fantastic.
As mentioned before, I am quite new to this SEO game and learning all the time!!
Through all my reading and learning over the last week I have learnt that Link Building is one of the most powerful ways of increasing your SEO game.
I'm really trying to get my head around it all. I have come across things like "Link Farming" which seems to be a big no no in terms of Google. Submitting to Link directories etc etc.
Now for somebody new, this all comes across quite confusing.
Can anybody out there provide me with a really simple but informative way to effectively Link Build? Best practices etc etc!
I really want to learn and "up" my game!
The website that I am working with is http://www.advanced-incar.co.uk
Many thanks,
Tim
Many thanks for the in-depth response Marcus!! Yes another UK body!
Along with my reading I shall definitely take this on board and hopefully reflect it in my work.
From what I gather from reading up on this over the last few days, SEOmoz does a quick crawl of your site then does a re-crawl which is later on. Think it takes up to 7 days for a full crawl.
If you have just started, I wouldn't worry too much at this stage!
Hi everybody!!!
Hope everybody is dandy.
Have spent a long time looking into SEOmoz and decided to just take the plunge and see what happens.
Im quite new to the world of SEO but I really want to get good at it. Hoping Moz and this community will aid with this!
Currently in the process of reading the SEO beginners guide and the SEOmoz user guide!
The two sites that I am currently working on are:
2. www.advanced-incarcamerasystems.com
The first site seems to have crawled well and have entered my competitors and am getting some info back (looks like I have a lot of work to do judging by the errors D'oh)
In the world of Google what is the best way to ensure you have authority on certain terms. For instance if I search advanced-incar we are top and we have all our sitelinks underneath etc etc, but when I search advanced incar we are second and as such we don't display sitelinks. Any ideas?
The second site was built using 1&1 and gives us a good little site for what we need. I have found out through research the most popular keywords are in car camera & in car cameras. Currently Im using Adwords to get us sponsored hits which is getting us some nice traffic but costing a bit. Those are the two main keywords i want this site to really hit home with. Any advice?
Also on this site, when I go to SEOmoz and select Link Analysis I get no info. It just shows 0 or 0.0 wheras my competitor sites all have values against them. Is something wrong with my site or what im doing? (Have added an example screenshot)
I appreciate its a long ended question but would really appreciate some help. Hoping that the guides will help me understand all this linkjuice stuff etc as well!
Thanks guys, really appreciative of any info you can provide.
Tim
